Living with HIV since childhood has undoubtedly shaped my life in a profound way, from the age of five, I have navigated the complexities of managing my health, confronting stigma, and finding strength in my journey. As I reflect on 18 years of living positively with HIV, here are 18 valuable lessons that have defined my experience and shaped me into the resilient young woman I am today.
